Dr. Terrence Scamp


Dr. Terrence Scamp is a graduate of the University of Queensland, (1980) and underwent his internship at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.

Two years after graduation he moved into surgical training and obtained experience in vascular, orthopaedic, neurosurgery and general surgery.

He commenced his specialised training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 1986 at the Royal Brisbane Hospital, moving to Princess Alexandra Hospital in 1987 for a further year of training in plastic surgery.

In 1988, he commenced three and a half years of International training in Scotland, Bristol, Harley Street London, Belgium, Slovenia, Germany and the U.S.A.

Dr. Scamp received specific training in a Cosmetic Fellowship in Harley Street from Europe's leading Cosmetic Surgeon, Mr. Frederick V. Nicole. Dr Scamp obtained his specialist qualification as a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in the division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 1990.

The following year he returned to practice on the Gold Coast.

Dr Scamp is a member of the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, The Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and an international corresponding member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.

He is on advisory boards for such companies as Allergan, the makers of Botox, and is an accredited trainer in injection technique for Botox, Juvederm and Restylane.
